Mahesh Murthy is an Architectural Design Technology specialist with over 27 years of work experience in India, Germany, and Dubai. He is familiar with all facets of the design process including concept, competition design, façade and form development.
In 1992, after studying Electrical Engineering, Interior Design and an advanced course in CAD, he pioneered the use of 3d computer graphics for architectural visualization in Bangalore. In 1994, he began his career with leading architectural firms in Bangalore, working on IT and R&D campuses and Real Estate projects.
In 2004, upon relocating to Germany he participated in a successful nation-wide design competition bid for the FCA Football Stadium in Augsburg. In 2006, he joined RMJM in Dubai and worked on iterative design and competition submissions for high-rise towers, hotels and convention centers.
On returning to India in 2011, he was invited to lead a 50 member visualization studio in New Delhi. In 2012, he moved back to his hometown of Bangalore and joined a start-up design firm. Since 2013, he works independently and has successfully consulted with leading Architecture firms and independently completed work on more than a dozen projects of various building types and scale.
