Façade Development and Interior Design
Suburban Factory Outlet, 2019, Bangalore.
The design brief for this project was to collaborate with the Architect to develop an ‘iconic’ façade for a factory outlet and produce a series of renders for client presentation.
The street-facing double-height volume was conceived as a series of articulated slices. This volume houses an office on the mezzanine floor and a showroom on the entrance level. The Waterfront Pavilion of the National Maritime Museum in Sydney inspired this form. A few iterations were value engineered before arriving at the final form. This form resulted in a dramatic interior volume in the office space. The office interiors and the food court were also designed for this exercise.
